Welcome to the University of Minnesota/St. Paul Campus Plant Collection.

The Plant Collection is located in  greenhouse 414 which is located at 1534 Lindig Street on the St. Paul campus. The facility includes 10,000 square feet of greenhouse space along with a headhouse and classroom. The greenhouses are divided into nine rooms, which house approximately 1,200 species representing 250 families.

The greenhouse provides diverse, living material for student use in labs as well as providing a living laboratory housing distinct aquatic, desert and tropical communities. The plant collection provides a hands experience in the teaching labs and is a popular attraction for campus visits by the public.
